Posiblemente el motivo de que la cabeza no estuviera ladeada, se debe a que la idea ser\u00eda representar al macedonio no tanto hacer una copia exacta de la obra. Seg\u00fan la web del Louvre, los labios y la nariz han sido restaurados. Es por ello posiblemente que no encontremos la t\u00edpica nariz aguile\u00f1a de los retratos de Alejandro. Esta cabeza a pesar de no tener el rostro ladeado, se perciben otros rasgos caracter\u00edsticos de sus representaciones: Como es la anastole, el cabello leonino, la barbilla redondeada, las mejillas planas y la mirada lejana. Posiblemente el motivo de que la cabeza no estuviera ladeada, se debe a que la idea ser\u00eda representar al macedonio no tanto hacer una copia exacta de la obra.
